Senator Richard Blumenthal, (D – CT). Perhaps one of the most anti Vaping Politician in Congress. He loves publicity and spewing his half truths and lies about vaping. When his anti vaping legislation failed that wasn’t the end of his flawed crusade. Blumenthal recently wrote letters to 13 major U.S. airlines asking for a complete ban on e-cigs. Currently, the devices can be carried on board an aircraft, but they are not allowed to be used during flight. Earlier this year the U.S. Department of Transportation implemented an e-cig ban from checked luggage. In the myopic world of Blumenthal, he wants e-cigs banned on carry on luggage.
Maria Azzarelli, tobacco control coordinator for the Southern Nevada Health District. A liar who is a charter member of ANTZ. Recent quote: “At the end of the day, what comes off an electronic cigarette is an aerosol that we know causes cancer … We are dealing with a (vapor industry) marketing machine that spits out misinformation.” Source on the sidebar. Where is the proof? Who is “we”? Memo to our 110K per year shill for BT, Vaping does not cause cancer in humans. Period. Their is NO scientific evidence to support your lie. Shame on you. The damage you have done to public health in Nevada is deplorable. Your flawed crusade is well documented in another article.
Gerie Voss, supervisory regulatory counselor at the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products. Listen to her tell a bold face lie during a radio interview. The host asked her how she could defend these regulations in the face of uniform statements by vaping companies that “this is so onerous that this is going to drive them out of the business.” Her answer was “It’s important to remember that we’re talking about products that kill people.” Start at 4:45 Minutes here. Catherine Cortez Masto formerly served as the Nevada Attorney General and is a candidate for the 2016 U.S. Senate. During her term as AG, she signed this letter which was sent to the FDA. She is anti Vaping and that’s an understatement! Masto, along with the other 28 AGs who signed this letter are all specious, disingenuous, LIARS, agenda driven, beholding to the all mighty dollar, and have no concern for public health. Here is my post on this letter. If you are a resident of Nevada, please DO NOT vote for her. While I favor Dr. Joe Heck, vote for anyone else but her who is not anti Vaping.
Blanca Myers is the associate to the editor in chief at WIRED. A high ranking position with a prestigious College degree. She is also a liar and her Wired article on Vaping is full of half truths, specious comments, and a great deal of bias. Even resorting to “link baiting” with a deceptive headline. I would have expected more from Wired.
Liz Thomson, the FORMER Democratic member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 24 from 2012 to 2014. A liar, bloviater, and charter member of ANTZ. Vapers spoke and are responsible for her defeat in her twisted desire for reelection in 2014. Read this history of the event.
Robert Califf, M.D, The next Commissioner of the FDA and currently serves as the FDA Deputy Commissioner for Medical Products and Tobacco. Appointed by Commissioner Hamburg in January of 2015, he represents an outstanding example of conflicts of interest and the corrupt culture of the FDA. He is bought and paid for by the Pharmcetical industry. Specifically, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, and Eli Lilly were the companies named as payors in his profile. Senator Mark Leno represents the 11th Senate District of California. An outstanding example of the ANTZ movement who screams that Vaping is smoking and continues to introduce legislation that would obliterate vaping. Naturally, he is bought and paid for by Big Pharma.

Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D., Former Commissioner of the FDA. She resigned in March of 2015 and most of the Media painted her in glowing terms and simply repeated spin. This is far from the truth. She is deeply conflicted, bought and paid for by the Pharmaceutical industry (Henry Schein Inc), and enjoys half truths and lies with respect to Vaping. Consider this nugget:
“Too often, the F.D.A. has succumbed to industry and political pressures, implementing policies and taking actions that tilt too far toward the bottom-line interests of pharmaceutical and medical-device companies, and away from protecting public health… Throughout Hamburg’s tenure, the FDA has grown even more cozy with the industries that it regulates.”

Mitch Zeller, J.D., Director, Center for Tobacco Products at the FDA. The point man to obliterate Vaping off the face of the earth. A K street lobbyist (Pinney Associates) for the Pharmaceutical Industry on the day he went to work for the FDA. Deeply conflicted, smart as a wip, bought and paid for by the Pharmaceutical Industry and to a lesser extent beholding to the Tobacco industry, no concern for public health, enjoys half truths, lies, and bloviating. A formable enemy of vaping who is an ideal fit into the deplorable culture of the FDA.
Stanton Glantz, Ph.D. is an American professor, author, and leading tobacco control activist. The King of the ANTZ movement who will not hesitate to tell lies and half truths in his efforts to obliterate vaping from the face of the planet. Bought and paid for by the Pharmaceutical Industry. Calling him conflicted doesn’t do justice to his deplorable actions.
CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden is a liar, bloviater, and Desk Killer. One of his many recent comments: “there was no decline in overall tobacco use between 2011 and 2014,” Naturally his false statements get lots of press and he and most of the media continue to hammer Vaping.
