The Last Chance To Save Vaping. DONATE today!

August 22, 2016

On August 8, 2016 the FDA’s Vaping Deeming Rule became Final and is the law of the land. Unless we see significant Congressional intervention and or Legal Actions in our favor, 99.9% of the marketplace will be destroyed in the next two years. If you are a regular reader of this Blog, myself and other activists have been predicting the demise of Vaping since 2014. This is our last chance to save Vaping with your Contribution and of course, continued activism.

A few days ago RiP Trippers released a YouTube video asking for your contributions and launching a crowd funding campaign which will benefit AVA (American Vaping Association) and R2BSF (Right to be Smoke-Free). RiP is the most popular Vaping reviewer in the world with over 700K followers. I could care less if you love him or hate him. RiP has the most traction in the Vaping universe and has a history (Link 1 and Link 2) of monetary contributions to support our cause.  His video has already received over  62K views in a few short days and the campaign has already raised over 29K in contributions which includes yours truly. Please watch RiP’s video:

Your contribution will be divided with 75% going to AVA and these funds will support the outstanding efforts of Greg Conley who I like to affectionately refer to as the “energizer bunny of activism”. Greg is the founder of AVA and has been the voice/face of Vaping since 2010. Greg is everywhere including Cable TV, Mainstream TV, Print Mdeia, Internet Media, and traveling around the USA supporting our cause. This cost real money, ladies and gentlemen. The remaining 25% of your contribution goes to R2BSF which will use these funds to support the consolidated legal action against the FDA by Nicopure Labs (Halo) and eleven vaping advocacy groups, including Right to be Smoke Free Coalition, the American E-Liquid Manufacturing Standards Association (AEMSA), the American Vaping Association (AVA), the Electronic Vaping Coalition of America (EVCA), the Georgia Smoke Free Association (GSFA), the Kentucky Smoke Free Association (KFSA), the Louisiana Vaping Association (LAVA), Maryland Vape Professionals (MVP), the Ohio Vapor Trade Association (OHVTA), the New Jersey Vapor Retailers Coalition (NJVRC) and the Tennessee Smoke Free Association (TSFA). Also supporting the lawsuit are the Shenzhen E-Vapor Industry Association-USA (SEVIA-USA), the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA), the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association (CASAA) and NOT Blowing Smoke (NBS). This legal action is very expensive and could cost millions of dollars.

EDIT on 8/25/16: WOW! Over 65K raised in just 8 days. AVA President Greg Conley has updated the Campaign with additional details.
