CASAA Call to Action: RiP Trippers used to be on my Hall of Shame because (Edited on 5/10/15) I was wrong about the following statement. Please see my correction post titled Vaping Reviewer RiP Trippers DOES support activism. I was wrong. none of his YouTube videos or web sites advocated activism. That changed today. Unless you have been living under a rock, he is the most popular Vaping YouTube reviewer in the word. Over 350K followers and some of his videos get almost 1 millon views. No one comes close to his popularity and reach. Although I’m certainly not a fan of his “hipster like” theatrics, I understand what he is trying to accomplish. I do enjoy the technical aspects of his reviews, the camera work, and the time spent editing and producing. Obviously, I’m not the only one who generally enjoys his videos.
While preparing to attend Vape Summit III in Las Vegas, I found myself on their FaceBook Page. Which contains this post:
“Rip Trippers will auction off his personal Challenger (see photo ), which will be on display at the Flawless Vape booth for your viewing pleasure. All proceeds will go towards funding the advocating efforts of CASAA, SFATA, and Free to Vape!”
Thank you! WOW! Kudos! Of course, I couldn’t resist using the parody image of RiP which I had prepared. I think it’s funny and hope you do! Hopefully, this great support of activism will lead to support for fighting the regulators in his YouTube videos. This won’t preclude RiP from continuing his “hipster like” theatrics. 🙂
